Max Neumann Pottery - »Pottery Traces in Bürgel 7«

March 2017 – August 2017

Special exhibition

The exhibition offers insights into the almost 100-year history of the pottery, which no longer exists today.

It shows an extensive and varied collection of objects - from everyday tableware to luxury ceramics - from the Max Neumann pottery and reveals the latest research results on the history of Bürgel pottery. Max Neumann and his successors clearly shaped the profile of Bürgel ceramics in the late 19th and 20th centuries with their peasant ceramics, Bürgel stoneware, the lavishly decorated historicist vessels and the Art Deco and Art Nouveau ceramics.

The accompanying catalogue to the exhibition is available for 5 euros.
